Marcella Kirk, proprietor, writes:

“Andrew and I, together with our children Sam and Darcie, have spent the past 6 years running a holiday and hospitality business in Saumur, the Loire Valley of France.

It has been a great adventure and we have retained a home there because there is so much about France that we still adore. However, it was time to come home and Chesterfield is home to us. We were surrounded by beautiful chateaux but, whenever asked which was our favourite, we always answered Chatsworth House!

Prior to living in France, we have built our own homes, worked as chefs and have even been employed by a well known airline for 11 years.

All of this has certainly prepared us for looking after people, although we promise that the tea and coffee will be much, much better than on an aeroplane!"
